Jack Londodo '17 Investment Banking Analyst

After graduating Cornell University in just 3 years, Jack Londono '17  began his career in January 24 as an Investment Banking Analyst at Centerview Partners.

An RCS lifer, Jack joined RCS in JPK. Wrapping up his ninth grade year in June 2017, he won the Stanley M. Ferret Mathematics Award, the Wadleigh W. Woods Latin Prize, the Jane Brooks Robbins Science Prize, the Susan Fiala Music Prize, and the Rippowam Cisqua Prize — the highest award conferred by the School.

After graduating from ninth grade at RCS, Jack entered Hotchkiss School as a sophomore. Jack graduated from Hotchkiss in 2020 and entered Cornell University’s business school, the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. He studied there for three years and graduated as a junior.

Jack's advice for current RCS students:
“It's really important to just enjoy the process. People are so fixated on the future outcome: What boarding school they’ll get into, or later on, what college they will go to. But if you get too caught up in the future, you’ll always be chasing that next step instead of enjoying the moment.
It’s really special to be present and get to know as many people as you can. Learn as much as you can while you’re at Ripp. Create the foundation that you need now to succeed in the future.”

I was something of a nerd, which, at the time, wasn't an easy thing to be, but in the end it worked out fine. Mary MacGill ’03, Jewelry Designer

Mary MacGill ’03 is a Hudson Valley, New York and Block Island, Rhode Island - based artist working primarily in gold and semi-precious stones. "We were Mr. Duveen’s first class at RCS and as legend goes, he had us design a nuclear submarine that year in order to teach us “basic” physics. I was voted Project Manager and it was a true lesson in communication, teamwork, and leadership. Mr. Duveen gave us guidance, but really left us to our own devices to figure out a seemingly insurmountable problem. We all had to work really hard to stay organized and on the same page, but we pulled it out in the end and lived to present and tell the story to a board of real life nuclear engineers."
