Annual Fund

Year after year, your commitment to RCS is unwavering. This shared responsibility to preserve and improve our school allows us to pass it along to the next generation of students, parents, and faculty better than how we found it. We thank you for playing an integral role in treasuring the school’s excellence and culture. When we need you most, you always show up – and that is the true meaning of community. You help to create unparalleled opportunities for every child at RCS.

Our mission to create independent thinkers, confident communicators, and engaged leaders drives our effort to build a comprehensive educational program that stretches, lifts, and challenges each child based on their learning styles and personalities. We are adaptive and resolute in our goal to equip each student with the tools to persevere through obstacles and become empathetic citizens driven by purpose.

When you give a hoot – with a gift small or large, publicly or privately – you become a direct contributor to our mission and join in our parent-school partnership fulfilling the educational experience for every child at RCS. Your children are the future, and we couldn’t be more thankful for your generous support.

List of 5 frequently asked questions.

  • Q: What is the Annual Fund?

The Annual Fund is the Rippowam Cisqua School's top philanthropic priority. Gifts to the Annual Fund are unrestricted, providing immediate impact and allowing the school to meet its most pressing needs.
  • Q: Why is my participation important?

Your gift powers the people, tools, and technology needed for students to thrive. 2023-24 tuition covers 85% of the cost to educate each child at Rippowam Cisqua School. The difference between tuition and the actual cost is called “the Gap.” When we successfully meet “the Gap” — your child directly benefits from enhanced programming that creates once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

  • Q: When should I give?

Gifts to the Annual Fund are put to use immediately, so the sooner the better! The Annual Fund follows the fiscal year, which begins July 1 and closes on June 30. Each November, our Annual Fund ambassadors connect with every member of the RCS community through the Annual Fund Phonathon giving initiative. Some donors give at this time, while others make gifts at other times during the year.
  • Q: How much should I give?

Please support the Annual Fund with a gift that is meaningful to you. We receive gifts of $5-$50,000 and above, and no gift is too small. All gifts to the Annual Fund are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
  • Q: Can I direct my Annual Fund gift to a specific area?

Yes! You have the flexibility to support the following components of the RCS mission with your gift: Faculty and Staff, Performing Arts, Athletics, Sustainability, Tuition Assistance, and Alumni Resources.  Learn more about the impact of gifts to the Annual Fund.
