Transportation

New York state law requires that local school districts provide transportation to students living within 15 miles of a non-public school at no extra charge. Below are the New York school districts that bus students to and from RCS. Forms are typically due to your district by April 1 and must be submitted each year.*

For a modest fee, RCS provides morning and afternoon bus service to families who live in lower Westchester County and Stamford. The bus stops at convenient locations in Scarsdale, Larchmont, and Harrison.

ARRIVE BY CAR
RCS is easy to get to by car. Directly off of Route 22, we’re just a few minutes from I-684 and the Saw Mill River Parkway. For those who need to balance work and family, our campus is close to three Metro-North Railroad stations and just a few miles from major business hubs like White Plains and Stamford.

CARPOOL
Many parents share driving duties with one or more families. Carpooling provides convenience and flexibility, especially when juggling after school activities and sporting events. It’s also a great way for students to build meaningful friendships across grades. The Admissions Office is happy to pair you with a family.

ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL TIMES
School begins at 8:20 a.m. for all students in JPK-Grade 4 and at 8:10 a.m. for all students in Grades 5-9. Dismissal times vary by grade as follows:
